What Factors Will Affect The Price Of Drill Rods

Drill rods have a wide range of applications in our daily lives, and are used in many industries, which directly affects the demand for drill rods. Many users are primarily concerned about the price of drill rods when purchasing them. Due to factors such as the market environment, the price of drill rods may fluctuate. Below, the editor will explain in detail the factors that affect the price of drill rods. Friends who want to know more can take a look.

  1. Design factors

(1) Selection of sealing components.

The reliability of hydraulic breakers largely depends on the design of seals and the selection of sealing components. Due to the unreasonable selection of sealing structures and non-standard selection of sealing components in the design, the compatibility type of hydraulic oil and sealing materials, load conditions, ultimate pressure, working speed, environmental temperature changes, etc. were not considered in the design, which can directly or indirectly cause hydraulic system leakage to the same extent. In addition, due to the presence of dust and impurities in the operating environment of hydraulic breakers, appropriate dust seals should be selected in the design to prevent dust and other contaminants from entering the system, contaminating the oil, damaging the seal, and causing leaks.

(2) Other design reasons.

Insufficient consideration of the geometric accuracy and roughness of the moving surface in the design, as well as the lack of strength verification of the connecting parts in the design, can cause leakage during the operation of the hydraulic breaker.

What factors will affect the price of drill rods

  1. Manufacturing and assembly factors

(1) Manufacturing factors.

All hydraulic components and sealing parts of the hydraulic breaker have strict requirements for dimensional tolerances, surface treatment, surface roughness, and form and position tolerances. If there are deviations during the manufacturing process, such as cylinder and piston diameters, sealing groove depth or width, hole size for installing sealing rings exceeding the tolerance, or due to processing problems causing out of roundness, burrs or pits, chrome plating peeling, etc., the sealing parts will deform, scratch, crush or not press firmly, causing them to lose their sealing function and giving the parts inherent leakage points. Leakage may occur after assembly or during use.

(2) Assembly factors.

Rough operation should be avoided during the assembly of hydraulic breakers. If excessive force will cause deformation of the parts, the parts should be carefully inspected before assembly. During assembly, the parts should be dipped in a small amount of hydraulic oil and gently pressed. Diesel fuel should be used for cleaning, especially rubber components such as sealing rings, dust rings, O-rings, etc. Cleaning with gasoline can cause them to age, lose their original elasticity, and reduce their sealing function.
